About Miriam

Hi, my name is Miriam Thompson. I help people navigate the bureaucratic maze of rules, requirements and process of obtaining permanent residence and Danish citizenship through Naturalisation.

• I am Not a lawyer or legal advisor, but an experienced guide.
• I do Not act as a legal representative on behalf of applicants.
• I work closely with several legal professionals in cases where expertise is indicated.

My assistance is grounded in my own journey to obtaining Danish citizenship which started in 2017 followed by more than 8 years as a volunteer advisor with respectively Den Frie Rådgivning and Fair Statsborgerskab.

When my husband, who has supported my volunteer work all these years, retired early in 2025, I was inspired to think in new directions and I took the leap into self-employment. In October 2025 I established Miriam T. Consulting ApS.

• 50/ 50 concept:
  My time is divided almost equally between free advice regarding general questions about the process (mainly on Facebook), while devoting an equal amount of time providing personalized and individual assessment and support on a paid basis.
• Low Fees:
  It is important to me that the process as a whole should be as inexpensive as possible and thus my fees are low in comparison to the overall market.
• Personal - but Online:
  Consultations take place primarily online, with limited in-person currently only available in Odense. I hope to be able to offer in-person consultations in a broader capacity in the future.
